Robbie Savage steps up to take Peterborough job: ‘All I want is a chance’

Robbie Savage has taken over as the head coach of Peterborough, a team fighting at the bottom of League One.

Savage departs from National League club Forest Green Rovers to join Posh on an extended deal. The side, sitting 23rd in the standings, dismissed Luke Williams last month. This marks Savage's first managerial position in the Football League since hanging up his boots as a player in 2011. He expressed his eagerness to silence critics, stating, "All I want is a chance."
